“Legendary British film director Sir Ridley Scott launched a global film making contest for aspiring directors. It’s titled “Tell It Your Way”. There were over 600 entries. The film could be no longer than three minutes, contain only 6 lines of narrative & had to be a compelling story.” Click Here to Watch the Winning Film: “Porcelain Unicorn”

I have to say, as someone who works full time from home and more or less makes her own hours, I fully support this theory. I don’t think it can work for everyone and every job. I think with certain jobs it’d be too easy to not put the hours in and say you did. But for me, I’ve found that as long as you and your boss have high expectations of your work output and ways to track it...

molly-mccluskey: Went to a JMU party last night thinking I’d get some fun attention for…being fluent in English. Yes, I was wearing my glasses, but I had an attack of the contacts at dinner, and it was either that or no partying at all. And also, my glasses are amazing. Raging frat party. Dark, smelly, music blasting. As I walked by a group of bros hovering over the keg, one of them laughed at...

It’s my dad’s birthday today. He’s kind of a special guy. I pity the fool who’d attempt a personality profile on him because he’s one of those people that words just were not made to describe. There aren’t enough words and there are too many words. So instead here’s a picture. (Click here) This is us waiting on the flight line for dad to come home from...

After a pretty good discussion with my brother Matthew about why the hell we find it so ideal for people to know what we are doing at all times, I got rid of my main Facebook account. I’m hoping this sparks some productivity and more life-living in general. In its place, I created the below profile with basic info for work and those who want to get in touch with me and don’t have my...

Growing up, every time a new Sports Illustrated would arrive I’d do three things: 1) Get to it before it turned into the crumpled bathroom mag, handled by all three brothers as they did their business. 2) Flip through the Leading Off photos in the front with no idea who the athletes were but great respect fo the photographers. 3) Skip over the rest to get to the last page and read Rick...
